I just read the initial thread ...... Server manager is not what you want to use, but will work!
Use Computer Manager and 'connect to' the machine you would like to investigate or open Computer Manager on the machine in question. Expand Shared Folders \ Sessions and you will see who is actively using that server. Computer Manager will show you the same info as Server Manager, but in an easier to read format with an expandable window......
