It’s all 100Mbs full duplex. Just subnet per wing for performance. I’m going to add all of the subnet’s to the site definition but I’m more interested in the DNS/AD issues regarding switching the DC’s to the new IP numbers.

Depends on your network links once you split.  Latency, utilization, bandwidth, usage all play a part in making that determination of separate sites or leave it all as one.  If possible, leave it as one site if you can.  Just add the appropriate information to the site information.

Hi all

 

I’m in a situation where I need to change the IP address structure of an entire building. The building contains a single domain AD forests and one physical site. We are going to split the building wings into different subnets etc.

 

Does anyone have any opinions, links or ideas on the best way to handle the AD/Exchange part of the process??
