I currently have 6x36GB 15K RPM or 6x18GB 10K RPM in 3xRAID1 in my boxes.
Have you/anyone done any tests vs this config? I’d be interested to see.

Last big DCs I was responsible for were
also RAID-10 w/ 6 spindles and a single logical. I was quite pleased with
their perf.

logical drive. Our Dit is about 6GB. Provides fast read/write with
fault tolerance.
