Well sort of... I know multiple languages, just not really
spoken human languages. I am a speak to the machines kind of guy so have a
background in ASM/MASM for multiple hardware platforms as well as BASIC, BP,
BP2, COBOL, FORTRAN, Pascal, c, c++, PL/1, perl, _vbscript_.
The human language I seem to be passable in are American
and can speak English in a pinch. Had some Latin in high school too, that helped
me learn some English more than anything else.
As for the code, I will admit to Unicode issues in the
tools. Unicode is a pain at the command line. I have some new backend LDAP
methods that support Unicode much better but haven't released anything to the
public yet that uses it. You will have run into this if you ever try to pipe
something from adfind to admod and it had some multibyte character in it that
doesn't translate properly in the shell. You will see a funky character in the
adfind output and admod will ask you what you are smoking.
