Do you have any budget for packaging
software? To do what you’re talking about, you would probably need
to repackage those things into an MSI that will run silently. It’s
possible to do that with free tools, but much easier with a package. I
use InstallShield Admin Studio, but it comes with a price tag… (about
$1700 for Standard) There is a trick for packaging the Citrix ICA client,
which I would have to look up again to share (if you need it let me know), the
HOST file is an easy thing though.

Subject: Queuing installations
i'd need some help for automating installations.. We're
1) installing CSPs for smart cards, 2) installing ica-clients, 3)modifying
HOST-file and all this for several computers (to get remote connection)
that are somewhere out there. Or actually we could ask our partners to do this
by themselves but there's already FAR too much to do here so that they
could really manage :) It would be nice to get these working with just one
doubleclick from CD. I guess I had to start scripting but I'm still totally
newbie in that so I'd appreciate any help.
