Yeah, it's called creating a GPO that has that setting disabled (not "not defined", disabled).

You could always look at it as having to create a whole new GPO because they want to define whatever that object is on everything else.  If they didn't want to define that, you'd be golden and wouldn't have to do it.

In other words: Remove the setting from everything or you get to create a GPO to disable that setting.
