And, you can even turn the mailbox into a honeypot of sorts, by logging into it via Outlook and creating a rule that deletes all email sent to it!

Well there are a lot of things that could be done,

 

1-       u can modify the user delivery restriction tab

2-       u can create a security group add the user names to this group then open THE ESM navigate to the your default SMTP virtual server Access tab, the authentication, add the group u created

 

The job now is done

I have a client who would like certain users to no longer receive e-mail, while still being able to access their mailboxes. Is there a way to do this other than exporting their mailbox to PST and mailbox-disabling the users?
