[ https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/AMQ-630?page=comments#action_36761 ] Kieran Murphy commented on AMQ-630: -----------------------------------
Yes - even with the closeTimeout value set to 500ms, if I am using failover then the client will wait FOREVER for the broker to reply before shutting down. Without failover, if I just use TCP, then client shuts down properly, I have been testing this using the 4.0.1 release: incubator-activemq-4.0.1. Perhaps you could try to duplicate this, so I'll at least know that it's not just my configuration? Thanks. > After broker has shutdown, cannot shutdown a client application > --------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: AMQ-630 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/AMQ-630 > Project: ActiveMQ > Issue Type: Bug > Affects Versions: 4.0 M4 > Reporter: Kieran Murphy > Assigned To: Hiram Chirino > Fix For: 4.1 > > > 1.
