Agot,
You can set this at the web server level. For IIS go into Internet Services
Manager (Win2K) and adjust the Connection Timeout: value under the Web Site
{Tab}. Not sure where to find this for Apache.
I think there's a way to control it at the browser level, but I don't know
what that would be. I would also be hesitant to set a browser level timeout
anyway, only because the server is gonna override it anyway...

Subject: How to prevent a web-page from beeing canceled by "Connection
timed out"?
Hi,
I have coded a web page with perl/cgi-script, which has dynamic content and
therefor can be quite long. It sometimes happens that this page is canceled
in the browser with the message "Connecion timed out". Is there anything I
can do to tell the browser to wait longer for the page to be loaded?
