Hi Tony I use redirection all the time. On page 565 of the Perl Cookbook you can do:
$pid = open(PH, "foo 2 >&1 | "); But I'm not sure this will work on Win32, but it's worth a try. You can do it from a system call with the necessary escaping of characters (I tend to go overboard there). For example: system( "perl foo.pl \> log.txt 2\>\&1"); Hope this helps.
