I think we'd all like to know: -are the servers identically configured (memory, CPU) -in brief, what is the script doing (what task is it performing)

I have 4 boxes all Solaris 8 with Active Perl 5.6. The script is exactly the same on all the boxes. Still when I do the top, it show's me way to different numbers for the CPU % used by the script. on one of the box its 0.01%, on second its 0.38% , on third its 12.41% and on fourth its 24.47%. Has anyone seen this before and know the reasons that could be causing this to happen?? Any pointers greatly appreciated.
