Hello, the mozilla project opens a powerfull technology for programmers interested on webservice programming embedding the newest technology like xml etc. As to date I could read about projects using mozilla technology as a ground for further development, I only found projects investigating in Desktop/GUI development.
I am interested in using mozilla as a server based engine, probably being programmed using perl. I think of using the engine for integrated processing of html/xml/javascript whereas the interaction would be program controlled rather than interactively. Are there any efforts under way in the perl community? Actually, I did not find the right entry point to start programming mozilla-api using perl. Most examples presented are meant for C/C++ programmers. Whether XUL and other scripting languages are good starting point I am not quite shure. Can anybody help?
