Hi, The zip package supporting cmdline installation has an Installer.bat that interactively leads a user through the install. However, there appears to be no way to do use flags to answer the question and run it unattended in batch; if I understand correctly, this is possible with the Unix/Linux dists (install.sh). I request the same possibility for the win package.
I also tried to run the installer so it got the answers from a redirected stdin; no joy. The workaround for now is to hack the install script to answer the questions the way I want them. If this request should be sent to a 'better' address let me know... This behavior observed with ActivePerl-5.8.8.819-MSWin32-x86-267479.zip TIA, ken1 _______________________________________________ ActivePerl mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs
