Hello, I'm running Windows XP (w/SP2) with IIS installed. I've downloaded
and installed ActivePerl-5.6.1.629-MSWin32-x86-multi-thread.msi but the
DB_File module doesn't seem to have been installed (and it's needed for a
project I'm working on). I went onto ActiveState's web site and
downloaded
http://ppm.activestate.com/PPMPackages/zips/5xx-builds-only/DB_File.zip
...but when I run
ppm install DB_File.ppd
...I get:
Installing package 'DB_File.ppd'...
Error installing package 'DB_File.ppd': Read a PPD for 'DB_File.ppd', but
it is not intended for this build of Perl (MSWin32-x86-multi-thread)
I searched ActiveState's web site, and I've read through the previous list
server postings to try and see if this has been covered before but I
wasn't able to find an answer. Any suggestions?
