Pro: 5.10 has some new features:

Con: 5.10 has less pre-compiled PPM modules.

99% that you don't have to change anything in your scripts, but nobody would 
guarantee it.
Just check: installing ActivePerl takes only minutes, you can always rollback 
if something goes wrong.

ppm profile save filename

copy "filename" to new machine, and then

ppm profile restore filename
