ActiveState is pleased to announce the release of Perl Dev Kit 9.0, the
essential tool suite for Perl developers that facilitates the creation
and deployment of professional Perl applications.
What's New in Perl Dev Kit 9.0?
===============================
* Perl 5.12 is supported by all tools in the PDK.
* PerlNET has support for 64-bit mode.
* The PDK now works with ActivePerl for HP-UX on PA-RISC. Note that
using ActivePerl for HP-UX requires an ActivePerl Business
Edition license.
In addition there are several bug fixes to get PDK tools to work better
under Windows 7 (graphical debugger can be run as a service, GUI applications
can be started via the Start menu shortcuts).
