Whenever i start win32com\client\combrowse.py or
makepy.py from either the command prompt or
out of the windows explorer, i invariably get very nasty
system-breakdowns where all programs and processes
under Win98se quit with error dialogs, the screen blocks,
BSODs appear, and finally the laptop grounds to a
complete hold after complaining explorer.exe was
faulty and i would have to reinstall windows. I then have to
pull the plug in order to restart the machine. This
behaviour appears with both the beOpen and the
ActiveState editions of Python and their respective
win32 extension packets. Strangest of all, not only do the
test suites finish successfully, even both makepy and combrowse
DO work when called from pythonwin... Help!
