You are right that ActivePython is redistributable within an
organization and we encourage that redistribution. But we have no
mechanism for building subset or custom distributions for our users. We
could provide this as a service offering to our PythonDirect customers.
In the future, ActiveState intends to make the redistribution of Python
applications easier. That may be done as part of ActivePython or as part
of our development environment initiatives:
