ppm and ms proxy server

Hi

Just tried the new ppm tool. I can't seem to get it to work through our MS
Proxy server. I get: ERROR: (10065, 'No route to host').
I have tried manually setting the http_proxy environment variable but it
does not help.
Does ppm not support proxies?
