Yes! That, and the removal of far more 'python' registry entries than I had
at first encountered, have done it.

Make that
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\Uninstall\

And then you'll have to look click on a bunch of GUIDs that key off
of that, until you find the ActivePython Build 210 remnants (look at the
DisplayName entry). Once you wipe out this key, Build 211 will install as
per usual.
