Given: An excess of Win32 platforms... Question: Is it currently possible to compile a properly COM-formed .py file to a Win32 .dll? (If not, will it be possible in the near future?) Background: I'm trying to convince some very stubborn server support personnel that Python is a good thing. I can explain to them how nice it is to program in Python (as opposed to VB) till I'm blue in the face, but they want to know why *they* should be bothered with installing it. As near as I can tell, compiling Python "scripts" into .dlls would be the easy way to get around this (a .dll is a .dll, that's their level of concern), but I can't find any references to anybody compiling a .py down to a .dll... Assistance, insight, or directions to the mailing list I actually meant to send this to (it's my first try...) would be appreciated. J.
