Just a quick update. The same thing happens, when I use the latest version on Mark's page (win32all-152). The problem seems to be associated with the py*.dll files in winnt\system directory. Un-installing win32all, deleting these files, and then repairing the ActivePyton install fixes things.Mark's off email for a few weeks, so the answer will be delayed for a while.
