Windows 2000 server and adv server come, by default, optimized for background
services. Windows 2000 Professional comes optimized for applications. This
setting is found under system properties, performance options. You might want
to check and see what your windows 2000 advanced server is set for. If this
is a production server, changing it to be optimized for applications will
result in your services running slower and be an unwanted effect.
