hi all,
i have been investigating for hours on how to get around this issue of
a view_path being empty.
basically everything seemed to work in the ugrade to 2.2.2 (after some
minor tweaking), *except*
when the system started sending emails for users signing up, it
started giving them 404's in the
signup page (!!!!!).
to compound the issue:
- it *only* happens in the production environment! i cannot
reproduce this in the devel environment
of a similarly configured machine (and cannot run devel in the
production machine)
- backing out to 2.1.2 and backing out active scaffold to the
previous stable release does *not work*(!!)
gives out "Unprocessed view path found: nil" on
ActionView::TemplateFinder::InvalidViewPath. why?!?!
I see lots of 2.2 errors, and i see messages from Sergio and mr.gaffo
in related areas

I tried a number of things, including setting the template root, but
it still comes out empty in the error:
ActionMailer::Base.template_root = "#{File.dirname(__FILE__)}/../
app/views"
Below is the error. Any help would be appreciated, as our site is
giving errors in new users!
