Hi,

I am new to RoR/ActiveScaffold. Desperately trying to find a decent
dynamic scaffolding option in Rails 2.2.2, I came across
ActiveScaffold. I am running Ubuntu 8.04.

Unfortunately, I am dying badly on line 17 of install_assets.rb where
files are being copied into the public directory. My entire directory
substructure is owned by root and set to 755, but unfortunately,
Apache isn't very happy with this setting when running ActiveScaffold.

Could someone please tell me what my permission scheme should be for
which directories?
I really want to get ActiveScaffold to work. BTW, I saw some earlier
threads dating back to 2007 with these copy file issues. How did
people resolve them?

Please let me know. Thank you.

Regards,
Ken
