Using enum columns the stored value is not shown in update-view, e.g. in the minimal example given in http://wiki.github.com/activescaffold/active_scaffold/enum-columns the value always is shown in update view as "male", no matter wether the stored value is "male" of "female".
Shouldnt showing the stored value not be the default behaviour?
