Hi
I am trying to get the form field chaining to work for me. I have the
latest AS and rails.
In my orders controller, I have
config.columns[:insurance_type].options = {:update_column => :product}
config.columns[:product].form_ui = :select
I want to load the drop product based on insurance type.
Orders helper
def options_for_association_conditions(association)
if association.name == :product
{'products.insurance_type_id' => @record.insurance_type_id}
else
super
end
end
Though the helper method is called the product does not seem to load
when i choose insurance type.
Do i need to add anything else (call javascript or something) . I even
downloaded the sample application dynamic selects from git. Even that
sample does not seem to work.
