Hi!
In cainlevy's record_select example (to be found at
http://recordselect.codelevy.com/)
you can select records using your keyboards arrow-keys (at least in
the "Form Helper" and the "Multiple Selection" tabs).
I can't do this in an application I set up to test AS' record_select
bridge (based on Sergios records_select branch), which otherwise works
as intended. Is there any more magic necessary? One of my controllers
looks like:
class OwnersController < ApplicationController
record_select :per_page => 5, :search_on =>
'name', :full_text_search => true
active_scaffold :owner do |config|
config.columns = [:name, :items]
config.columns[:items].form_ui = :record_select
config.list.pagination = false
end
end
My layout is most basic, too:
!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://
www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=UTF-8" />
<title>ROR2 Test recordselect</title>
<%= javascript_include_tag :defaults %>
<%= record_select_includes %>
<%= active_scaffold_includes %>
</head>
<body>
<%= yield %>
</body>
</html>
Regards
Michael
