Hi Michael,

please take a look at an existing action like update.
There you have three partials:
update.html.erb: used for example if js disabled or action_link has
option page => true (non ajax requests)
_update.html.erb: used when you click update action_link and and ajax
request is fired
on_update.js.rjs: used when you ve submitted update form

You will need something comparable for your custom action.
