Yes all was working fine. However I'm not entirely sure how I'd make Hot Potato work with Rails at this point and might decouple it and have it make HTTP data requests to he rails server for data needs, and have them the run on different ports (hopefully out of the same Heroku instance - possibly with sub-modules - if I can work that out). I wish the Hot Potato Google Group was as responsive and helpful !
