If you are looking for ASP.Net tutorials then:
a) the .Net Framework SDK comes with a boatload of samples, quickstarts and
tutorials
b) they are also available online at www.asp.net
c) even though you have XP Home, you can download the Cassini webserver, as
people have mentioned, (that comes with the Matrix development tool) and use
that for ASP.Net development (not ASP though)

Cheers
Ken

: HTH:
: I was considering taking the leap as you say, to .net.
:
: I wouldn't have gotten the book had I not been told that it would be
: better to get the backround of asp by learning the classic asp. I could
: have gotten a book on the .net.
:
: Now I have to sort of stay with this. You are right about one thing, lol,
: very limted budget!!
:
: Are there any good sites online for tutorials for asp.net? I do have a
: tutorial that I printed off line for the matrix. However, that is strictly
: for the Matrix.
:
: thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated.
