You can turn off logging for individual directories via the IIS MMC Snapin.

That said, logging is an important security tool, and I would strongly
recommend *against* turning off logging of anything.

Maybe you could choose to generate logfiles over a smaller time period (eg
weekly or daily), and then move the logfiles over to another machine for
analysis/archival purposes.
