We don't have a separate policy. Reporting requirements and provisions for amnesty in specific situations are included within policies that cover the type of situation (alcohol and other drugs; sexual discrimination, harassment, and violence, etc.).

Do any of your institutions combine these policies? Our college is considering a campus wide policy which would be broad in scope, but specific in design to incorporate situations of alcohol and drug abuse, instances violence, imminent violence, medical emergency situations, etcetera. The aim of the policy is to make sure appropriate medical assistance and/or intervention is sought and not delayed for fear of repercussions for violation of the student or employee Code of Conduct policy. Any thoughts on this? Suggestions? Thank you all - this list-serv has been a huge help over this past year! Meg Resue Senior Executive Assistant Institutional Compliance .
