this Thursday at 5.30pm you are warmly invited to the opening of Slow
Train 'A Comin' (Rural Vignettes) a video and sculpture installation
by Brit Bunkley.
Slow Train ‘A Comin’ (Rural Vignettes) consists of a series of
apocalyptic dreamscapes set in rural New Zealand. Using 3D computer
animation Bunkley creates air-brushed rural scenes that subtly change
to reveal a surrealistic shifting of time, objects and space; a jet
moves through the head of a sheep, a freight train through the side
of a cow.
