Hi,
We are running a workshop in creative robotics/art machines, one of a number of
workshops from January 21st-25th 2008 at WITT in New Plymouth. The robotics
workshop uses PICAXE chips and a range of low cost electronics. The plan is to
seat experienced participants at the back of the room, deal with them first and
then get around to those with intermediate or beginner skills. The fee includes
a basic electronic starter pack. We intend using non solder wafers, but
soldering iron and circuit board would be available for those who might want
it. Computers will be available on site.
Also running are week long workshops in Video Art, Creative Project (i.e. bring
along a project for mentoring and guidance), and a two day DVD making course.
Traditional media offerings include Photo Manipulation, Fabric, Jewelry and a
Parent and Child one day course.
