it was the reading a renoise report and the synchronistic post by adam that got me thinking about free osx DAWs/... ..granted renoise is very cheap. rosegarden was also one i initially got excited about while following that thread,,, but... the important parts of the equation i was looking for are FREE ,OSX, MIDI and AUDIO.. id spotted ardour before but ( for those that dont know) there is currently no midi implementation, which means it falls off the list... the other is the OSX requirement, im not going to get the "establishment" to change over to linux in a hurry.. :-) PD is not what im looking for to teach ... yet... thanks again L _______________________________________________ Ada_list mailing list [email protected] http://aotearoadigitalarts.org.nz/
