JENESYS Programme 2009/2010: Invitation Programme for Creators
A residency opportunity of up to two and a half months for young (35
and under)
professionals in artistic/creative fields is being offered as part of
the
JENESYS programme, administered by the Japan Foundation in partnership
with the
Asia New Zealand Foundation.
This programme, which is being offered in 13 Asia Pacific countries
including
New Zealand, is aimed at emerging arts professionals aged 35 or under
practising in the fields of video, film, visual art or electronic music.
Previous New Zealand participants have been writer Carl Shuker and
video artist
Janet Lilo.
Professional practising artists with a record of achievement in the
preferred
genres of arts practice are invited to submit a written application to
Asia New
Zealand Foundation by no later than 5pm on Friday, February 12, 2010.
