kia ora koutou,

I've been living in Europe for 20 years now, but I still feel 'kiwi'
Anyway this 2 minute video Sen and I made in response to a call of impressions
of Europe shows how lucky we've been to be living in such interesting times.
Sandy Hoover allowed us to re-sample her work and the sung lyrics towards the
end are by a NZ London-based friend: Kath Tait, so this work is really a
collaborative thing. enjoy!

A compass tells us that every direction has its possibilites.
We have taken the theme of a 'compass-clock' as a way of showing our
personal experiences with diverse European cultures. The video starts
at zero for us, the Netherlands our home for the past 20 years and then
turning clockwise, snapshots of us and our children flash by against
various modes of documentation to create a dance between the personal
and the public record.
