Hello Everyone,
We hope this message finds you all well --
We have been working with people near and far, and are excited about a
number of fun and inspiring projects that have become a part of the
SCANZ 2011: Eco sapiens event.
Due to seeking ways to encourage and stimulate the already existing
creative eco-energies local to the event, this year’s creative
residency participants include a range of individuals with inspiring
ideas and practises, and many hands-on creative workshops for people
to get involved with. Likewise the symposium is intended as an
inspiration point which might feed into the creative residency period,
and is to include a Community Day of workshops and talks which will be
open to all.
More information on the programme of events as they are shaping up,
are available at the below URLs:

Workshops & Public Events
A number of the projects involve community workshops and public events
such as screenings, presentations and artist talks. Most workshops
will be held throughout the event, with many of the screenings and
talks occurring on the final weekend of the event, on Saturday the
29th of January.
We are interested to be able to create some overlaps or continuations
between the ADA and SCANZ gatherings -- and so while we ruminate --
your suggestions and thoughts are welcomed.
An overhaul of the intercreate site is also in development, in which
we will be able to provide further information on individual projects,
workshops, talks and events.
All the best on behalf of Intercreate and the SCANZ team,
