Technical Officer, School of Arts , Waikato University
We are seeking an experienced person to provide high quality
technical support for research, creative projects and teaching
activities carried out within our programmes in Music, Screen and
Media Studies and Theatre Studies.
You will be specifically contributing to the areas of audio visual
production, sound recording and creative performance, as well as
providing computer support for School students and teaching staff
projects.
It is essential that you have a vocational qualification and/or
proven work experience in audio visual and sound production, and are
competent in the support of relevant hardware and software, with
preference given to those with experience in managing
Macintosh-specific platforms.
Preference will also be given to those holding a diploma in audio
visual/sound engineering and a computer science qualification
including simple object- orientated programming
Salary will be in the range of $37,886 to $50,218 per year,
depending on qualifications, skills and experience.
