hi adas,
i'm planning a homeward visit next southern summer, combined with touring "make-shift", a networked performance that i made last year with paula crutchlow. "make-shift" is performed simultaneously from 2 houses in different places (paula will be in the uk while i'm in nz) & also accessible to online audiences via a web interface that combines UpStage with streaming audio & video; there's more info about it here: http://www.make-shift.net

we're planning our tour schedule now so we are looking for people & organisations who might be interested in hosting, & any other opportunities for presenting & promoting the work. the dates are flexible but i expect to be in nz something like mid-december to late january/early feb (yep, that time when you're all either super-busy or totally on holiday, i know ...). the performances will be late evening events (e.g. 10pm start), since we're coordinating with audiences in the uk 12 hours behind.

"make-shift" addresses environmental themes & explores local/global relationships/communities; it's very engaging, fun & participatory - a small audience of about 15 gathered at a house creating half of the performance in collaboration with a small audience in another house on the other side of the world - plus the online audience scattered around the globe & potentially down the road. it's also possible for galleries & venues to screen the online interface for a gathered audience.

if you're interested in being involved in any way, please email me off-list & we can discuss it further. thanks in advance, & i'm looking forward to catching up with some of you next summer :)

h : )
