Another multi-screen synchronised video solution ... A student wanted to run the same video on three screens in an installation but the computers only had dual cards. I already had access to Isadora software (http://www.troikatronix.com/isadora.html). A downloadable version is save disabled but it will play the files saved elsewhere. What I did was use the purchased Mac version to put together the file that I would run on two PCs with the save disabled version. Isadora allows for communication over a network using OSC (Open Sound Control) so I used a home multiport modem to create a small network and then triggered the video on the computers with Isadora. I could have triggered any number of computers for no extra cost (as long as I could network them). Isadora can work with multiple screen cards as well so would work on one computer. I think Isadora is around US$275 for education but it is far more powerful than just sychronising videos on multiple screens.
