Te Aro Campus, 139 Vivian Street, Wellington

Vikram Kumar's lecture on 'Crypto for the Masses: the MEGA Story' will focus on
security and privacy issues surrounding the history and current state of
cryptographic technology, touching upon subjects related to its modern day
implementation and the challenges it poses for MEGA.co.nz.

Until recently, Vikram has been Chief Executive of InternetNZ, a non-profit
organization promoting the vision of an 'open and uncapturable Internet'. In
New Zealand, he has earlier worked for central government (State Services
Commission) as well as Telecom in a variety of roles covering management,
strategy, innovation, policy and programme management.

Vikram brings a diverse range of skills and insights to MEGA. He takes great
interest in the economic, social and cultural opportunities that the Internet
provides and the challenges the Internet is facing such as privacy, security
and openness.

Please forward to anyone who might be interested, apologies for cross-posting.
