Themes for the panel include: What does it mean to design a new medium, or media, while trying to anticipate its potential social and societal impact? How do we work with and around the implications surrounding privacy and information security when designing for systems that harvest personal data? What are some of the positive changes that the creative use of networked technology provides us, and how may these affect social engagement? Where are the key challenges for young and upcoming digital designers today, and how might we adapt future design education to prepare for these challenges accordingly? Hope to see you there!
