SPECTRA 2018
The Australian Network for Art & Technology (ANAT) invites you to be part of Spectra 2018, an Australian/NZ art/science gathering bringing together the vanguard of our artists and scientists collaborating on interdisciplinary research. Spectra 2018 is a three-day symposium, an exhibition, and a program of screenings and talks. The Call for Papers is now open, with submissions due by 29 June. Go to www.spectra.org.au for details. BACKGROUND Collaboration between the arts and sciences creates new ideas, thinking and processes beneficial to both disciplines. Artists and scientists approach research in different ways and from different perspectives: when working together they open up new ways of seeing, experiencing and interpreting the world around us.
