begs the question: *But* to what end, all the effort, life-time, life-energy, cpu cycles... to make a simulation of a simulation for a mediated and sensory-deprived screen-based 'experience'? When do we drop the notion that the map can never be the territory, and when the asymptotic limit is approached where that is the case, all available energy will be consumed by our species. This 'work' seems, imho, to be indicative of a deep misunderstanding of what it means to be sustainable...
