27 November - 8 December Bribie Island Retreat Centre, Woorim Yarun, Australia About Weaving Water @ Yarun will bring together the local community, with First Nations wisdom holders, artists, scientists and technologists to connect, share knowledge, co-create over 10 days. The theme of the residency will be the beautiful and fragile ecologies of Yarun (Bribie Island) and the surrounding waterways of the UNESCO recognised Great Sandy Region <https://whc.unesco.org/document/153916>. The residency will facilitate a space to deeply consider and weave relationships between the ecosystems and communities of which we are a part of and connect across knowledges, geographies and cultures. The program will have a virtual and in-person component. Apply Informal calls for Expression of Interest (EoIs) closes on 28 February with a formal call following which will close on 30 June. A late call will be opened in September if there are any vacant places.
