I think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself. If a guy's running the
group, as the only woman here to give perspective, it sounds like he's
trying to gather geek chicks to ask out. ;) I'd say to post an ad to
the digital eve lists saying you're looking for someone who's
interested in starting and running such a SIG, and leave it at that.

Isn't CLUE supposed to be a Canada-wide organization? Those of us in
Vancouver aren't going to drive out to Toronto for a geekette evening,
no matter how fun it might be. Perhaps a mailing list might be more
appropriate.
