Here's an update regarding the reorganization project: 1. [EMAIL PROTECTED] - this has been the primary source of ideas and input to the reorganization process [I thnk all who've contributed]. Other sources have included off-list conversations, review of old documentation, meetings with the current executive (this includes Matt Rice, Evan Leibovitch and Ron Harwood).
2. Revision of By-Laws - the by-laws have been revised and will be published pending their legal approval. I hope to get the by-laws published in the first week of September. 3. Identification of CLUE Priorities. Given all of the input from all of you, careful consideration is being given to identifying and prioritizing future CLUE activities. Also hope to publish by first week of September. 4. CLUE Structure. Consideration is being given to the structure that CLUE will follow going forward. Executive structure will be documented in the by-laws when published. The functional model, i.e. membership methods, etc. will also be documented in the by-laws. Some Good News: - the legacy membership of CLUE is very much alive, numbering 1000+ people. This is all the people who've signed up for @linux.ca email addreses.
