"Open Strong and Free" is not going to cut it against right wing rhetoric. Nor is the truth, which is that we want the freedom preserved so we do not face the nightmare deployed in Communist China against their dissidents: A Right Wing 'security' agenda plays the card "you will only oppose us if you have nothing to hide" and while it may be true that we have nothing to hide _today_, that does not mean our governments of the future will be so delightfully ethical that we will have no concerns tomorrow.
